Introduction
Smash It Rage Rooms is South East London's only destruction venue, sitting in Eltham at 7-9 The Mound; and it builds up a genuine following since opening. This isn't a venue that takes itself too seriously: the energy is loose, the staff are consistently praised, and the whole experience leans into the absurdity of paying to smash a TV in a good way. Reviewers have called the atmosphere amazing and the staff genuinely warm. The venue has attracted some notable visitors too: British rapper Little Simz used Smash It for a session featured in a magazine interview, and DJ Sherelle came away calling rage rooms a really healthy thing. It was also a Regional Finalist in the 2025 Start Up Awards.

What can you smash?
The room is stocked with a rotating mix of smashables (old televisions, computer monitors, plates, bottles, and furniture all make regular appearances). Weapons available include baseball bats, sledgehammers, crowbars, golf clubs, hammers, and mallets; all provided by the venue. Guests choose their own on arrival. All protective equipment is supplied and fitted before entering the room.
What to wear?
Comfortable clothing and flat, closed-toe shoes are the key requirements (open shoes, flip-flops, and sandals are not allowed). Full-length trousers and a long-sleeved top are also recommended. Everything protective (helmets, gloves, coveralls) is provided.
